'Mama Mia' launched an extended period of nostalgia over this incredibly successful Swedish pop group. The original stage play was put on the silver screen and now London hosts the launch of 'ABBA World' - a new interactive exhibition boasting an incredible 25 rooms displaying ABBA memorabilia, their music, films and much more. In the 'Perform with ABBA' area visitors to the exhibition have the chance to perform some of ABBA's greatest hits on stage with Benny, Bjorn, Agnetha and Frida.
If you feel the inclination to appear on ABBA album covers, posters and more, that can also happen as your photograph will be taken as you enter the exhibition and all of these will be on offer. There is even a chance to see yourself appearing in an ABBA music video. ABBA World is a chance to re-live the period of songs such as "Waterloo", "Chiquitita" and many, many more from one of the most prolific and enduring groups of - relatively - recent times.
Travel: Earls Court Exhibition is about a 15 minute walk from Harrington Court Apartments but you can take the District Line from South Kensington direct to Earls Court. Exit the station at the Warwick Road exit and the exhibition centre is just across the road.
