The Baby Show, as you would expect, has everything the mother-to-be or parents with newly born children might possibly need at the lovely riverside exhibition. There is everything from expert advice from a team of midwives and other health care professionals, to a range of expert speakers, fashion shows as to what every tot should be wearing and a large of stalls to buy clothes and an endless range of baby care products all under one very large roof.
The hundreds of retailers represented offer discounts and a range of special offers along with some unusual features – such as an assault course to try out the many buggy and push chair options to help you decide which is best for you. It won’t be quiet of course – with hundreds of babies present you have a fair idea of what to expect – but it is certainly the most complete display of baby care and baby products gathered together in one place.
Travel: Harrington Court Apartments makes an excellent West End base for your visit to The London Boat Show. For your trip to ExCeL you can take the District and Circle Lines from South Kensington tube station to Westminster and change to the Jubilee Line for the ride to Canning Town, where you go up one level to take the Docklands Light Railway to Custom House for ExceL. Alternatively, you can take the District and Circle Lines from South Kensington tube station to Tower Hill and then walk the short distance to Tower Gateway, where you can pick up the Docklands Light Railway (Beckton train) which will take you to Custom House.
