Grand Designs Live at ExceL, London is returning for its eighth year running and has become the UK's leading contemporary home show.  Based on the UK's Channel 4 TV series and presented by Kevin McCloud, Grand Designs Live features over 500 exhibitors covering seven areas across interiors, home improvement, renovations, technology, self build, renovation and shopping - so that there really is something here for everyone.

Actually taking place throughout the year on a couple of days each month, Live Tudor Cookery is an exciting project that enables you to go and watch chefs prepare traditional meals using the same utensils and traditional cooking methods used by the chefs of this famous Royal Palace beside the Rivert Thames from the time of Henry VIII and through the lives of subsequent Tudor Stuart and Georgian monarchs.  On 5th and 6th May you can also enjoy trying out a real Tudor Dish served in the Tiltyard Cafe between 11.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m.

Women come from around the U.K. and across the globe to power walk proudly in colourful bras in support of breast cancer and the fight to defeat it.  The Moonwalk is organised by the charity Walk The Walk and is a wonderful opportunity for exercise amongst link minded people in support of a very deserving cause.  Now in its 14th year, The Moonwalk grows in stength and support each year.

If you are an animal lover - of any kind of animal at all - this is the show for you !   All kinds of animals will be at the show - on display in action or simply there to view.  The London Pet Show includes expert talks on many of the animals present, including tips on how to look after them, so that it is an excellent learning opportunity for would-be pet owners, of all ages.  The show has moved to Earls Court this year to better accommodate all of the animals and visitors attending.

Moved into the larger national Hall at Olympia for this year's show, the 55th annual show, the London International Antiquarian Book Fair is organised by the Antiquarian Booksellers Association in conjunction, this year, with the National Trust. A haven for dealers and casual collectors alike, books, maps, prints, ephemera & manuscripts are showcased by a growing number of exhibitors.  The National Trust will be promoting its many libraries, which contain over 2 million antique books.  as in previous years, there is a lecture series, the ABA Road Show and Guided Tours to show off the highlights of the fair.
