The BBC’s genealogical programme ‘Who Do You Think You Are ?’ is widely accredited with popularising genealogy, changing it simply from being the preserve of academics with the time to track down dusty old records, tomb stones and such.  With the sheer volume of data now readily accessible online, everyone seems to have somebody in their family actively tracing their family tree – some in hope of finding a maybe distant connection to someone famous but most simply eager to know much more than was previously possible about their ancestors and relatives.

Who Do You Think You Are Live ? is an exhibition dedicated to the hobby of genealogy and includes detail on all the latest records and techniques, including DNA workshops.  Full of useful advice on how to track down your family’s past along with interesting detail from many of the celebrities who have taken part in the BBC programme, whether you are just starting out to trace your family tree or have been actively doing so for some years, this is definitely a must for you.

Travel:  Take the District Line from South Kensington two stops to Earls Court and change for the Olympia train (just one stop) going from the same platform.   Trains run about every 20 minutes.  Alternatively, it is about a 10 minute walk from the Warwick Road exist of Earls Court station along Warwick Road to High Street Kensington and Olympia.
